Good afternoon, Clubs for next week: Monday Football Y1, 2 & 3 Knitting Tuesday Choir No Pupil Voice (Open Evening) Wednesday Gardening Club Thursday Hi 5 Guitar and trumpet are on Tuesday. Violin is on Wednesday. Open Evenings are on Tuesday and Wednesday, appointment times have gone out, please see the school office if you have not seen your time. Books will be displayed in the school hall and parents will be collected from there. Parents of children in Foundation should wait in the school hall too. Tuesday afternoon at 3.45pm the school football team are playing St. Patrick’s (home) children with parents are welcome to stay and support the team. On Wednesday the children in Year 5 will be having the day at the Elizabethan for an Arts Day. I will transport them in the minibus, Mrs. Kingett will be with them all day. School uniform and a packed lunch are required. The Parent Governor election is currently open, ballot papers should be returned to school before 4.00pm on Thursday 22nd October. A list will be kept to ensure only one vote is cast per family. The ballot box is at the front of school. School is closed for INSET on Friday. We have a trainer in school supporting us with the Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar (SPaG) teaching. Children in both KS1 & 2 will be tested on this in their SATs next May. We return to school on Monday 2nd October. Have a good weekend.
