This week

Good morning, There will be no clubs this week. On Monday afternoon, the Foundation children are visiting the Bradley’s farm to see new born lambs. F1 children can stay for the day if they are not normally in for the morning session. Please remember to bring wellington boots. On Monday evening the PTFA Disco is 6.00-7.30pm IN SCHOOL. Please pay the £2 entry to the school office – this includes a drink and hotdog. There are sweets and drinks available to purchase. Parents of Foundation children can stay if they wish but we ask that all other parents do not. Guitar and trumpet are on as normal on Tuesday. Violin is on Thursday. On Wednesday Class 3 are out at the Elizabethan Academy for a Forensic Science Day. Packed lunch and uniform is required. Thursday is the last day of term. The end of term service will take place in Church at 9.15am. Following that there will be a coffee morning in school incorporating the eagerly anticipated Egg Drop Competition. Get those models ready! During the week, children will be able to buy tickets to win an Easter Hamper made by Miss Bailey (on display in the school entrance). Tickets will be 50p each and the winner will be drawn at the coffee morning & Egg Drop. We break up for Easter at 3.30pm and return on Monday 20th April. Your child will be bringing home an envelope from the PTFA today. They are holding a Grand Prize Draw as part of the fundraising at the Sturton Stride. Please try and sell as many tickets as you can. If you have any tickets that you cannot sell, please return the books to school by Thursday, we will be selling them on the morning of the Sturton Stride. All money raised is put back into school and helps all children. I have attached the letter that accompanies the tickets. The Sturton Stride takes place on Sunday 19th April. The race starts at 10.30pm on North Street and finishes at school. There will be activities on the school field including a free climbing wall and bouncy castle. It would be great to see you there. Good luck to those children and parents running – this year we have almost 50 children running! During the holidays, the new shelters will be installed in Foundation and on the small playground. FREE TO A GOOD HOME – 1 wooden play house. If you are interested, please let me know. Have a good weekend.
