Final update

Good morning,

It has been interesting seeing the range of soft toys and teddies in school today, lots of fun at playtime too!

Tomorrow is the Pumpkin Competition, please remember entry is £2 and tickets can be bought in the morning. There will be tables set out in the hall to place the entries on, please go in and help you child(ren). At 3.10, doors will open for parents and friends to come and view all the entries. Please make sure that all pumpkins are collected and taken home at the end of the day.

Merits is on as normal at 9.00am.

We break up for half term at 3.30pm tomorrow. The children return on Tuesday 1st November. Please remember that there is no Afterschool Care on Thursday 3rd November due to whole school staff and Governor statutory safeguarding training.

I have attached the diary dates for next term, these are also available on the school website.

Looking ahead, there is a coffee morning on 11th November straight after Merits. At the coffee morning, Stephanie Henry from the Bassetlaw Food Insecurity Network will be sharing information about the Food Hub that will be starting at school in January. The Food Hub is open to everyone, it is about reducing food waste and providing an opportunity for the community to buy it at a lower cost, £3 per bag, rather than it going to landfill. It also helps with the cost of living crisis and I hope it will be a great asset to the local community. It will be starting on a Thursday at 3.00pm and will run every week. Come along and join us for a coffee, cake and a chat.

I hope everyone has a lovely half term, when we return it will be the frantic run to Christmas!

Regards

Mark
