Good morning,

Well, we have some very excited children in school this morning (and staff), looking forward to the overnight camp and activities. Please keep an eye on Twitter for updates @Sturtonhead or www.twitter.com/Sturtonhead .

Please remember Afterschool is just until 4.30pm tonight and there is no EarlyBirds tomorrow morning.

Next week the lunch menu is Week 2.

Looking ahead……

w/c 18th July – new F2 (September) are in full time until the end of term

Wednesday 20th July – Transition morning for all children (new class groupings – Miss Louth will be in school too).

Thursday 21st July – Sports afternoon from 1.15pm. All the children from F2 to Y6, and those who are full time in September, are involved in the first part of the afternoon (team challenges – rotated around the field). At 2.00pm, the younger F1 will join and the formal races on the track will take place.

Monday 25th July – Gallery & Celebration Evening 6.00pm – awarding of trophies and awards (hopefully outside, as last year). From 6.00pm there will be a gallery display of Art & Design Technology work in the hall (in classrooms if Celebration is in the hall). All families will also be presented with the souvenir Queen’s Platinum Jubilee book from the Department of Education.

Tuesday 26th July – Y6 Leavers Service in Church from 2.00pm – everyone welcome, tissues at the ready. Seats will be reserved for families of the Y6.

PLEASE NOTE – THERE IS NO AFTERSCHOOL ON THE FINAL DAY OF TERM (Tuesday 26th July)

Have a good weekend, I think a catch up on sleep will be required by a number of children and staff!

Thank you

Mark
