This week

Good afternoon,

After two days of amazing performances, we now get ready for the final week of term.

Lunch menu is Week 3.

Please make booking to EarlyBirds and AfterSchool to office@sturton.notts.sch.uk by the end of today please. PLEASE REMEMBER THERE IS NO AFTERSCHOOL ON THURSDAY.

The children will be bringing home party food slips today. For the parties, all children bring in enough feed for 2 children, this is all put together for a party buffet. This food should be brought in on the day of the parties: Wednesday Foundation & Class 1, Thursday Classes 2 & 3.

A change of clothes can be brought for the parties (no football kits please). Santa will be paying a visit to each party and the children will be dismissed as normal at 3.30pm.

Class 3 are bringing home a letter today about their cooking on Wednesday, it details what they will need to bring in.

The PTFA Christmas Disco is on Wednesday evening 6.00-7.30pm. Please place the £3 per child in a named envelope in the blue bucket at the hall doors. Entry includes pizza and a drink as well as a disco and games.

Friday – our Christingle Service takes place at 2.00pm, everyone is welcome to attend. Please wear face coverings in Church. Each child will make and light their Christingle Orange, a lovely way to end term and prepare for Christmas.

At the end of the service, children can go home with parents, if you are unable to attend, they will be kept until 3.30pm.

We keep our fingers crossed that Covid will not start to be an issue at school next week, however, I am hearing about increased cases around so please keep a close eye out for symptoms. Many schools have cancelled or reduced their Christmas events, we hope that we can get through next week with parties, disco and Christingle.

Have a safe and peaceful weekend.

Regards

Mark
